Wesley Dale Wengler

Wesley Dale Wengler, 66, Blue Hill, Nebraska passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.  A Celebration of life will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Roseland City Building, Roseland, Nebraska beginning at 3:00 p.m.  There will be no viewing or visitation as his wishes were to be cremated.  Private family burial will take place at a later date.  Memorials can be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.  Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.mertenbutlermortuary.com.  Merten-Butler Mortuary, Blue Hill, Nebraska is serving the family.

Wes was born on February 8, 1952, in Hastings, Nebraska to Dale E. and Darlene L. (Lang) Wengler.  He grew up in Holstein, Nebraska and was very proud to have graduated with the last class of Holstein Public Schools in 1970.  He met and married the love of his life Linda Rae Donn and they were together 47 years.  Together they had two sons.  Wesley’s employment at Hastings Industries, AGP and CPI spanned over 45 years of service.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife; Linda, Blue Hill, Nebraska, Sons; Dustin, Holstein, Nebraska, Seth and his wife Amber, Roseland, Nebraska, grandchildren; Harley, Alexis and Cooper, siblings; Roger Wengler, Minden, Nebraska, Marcella Podewitz, Missouri, nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Gerald, Harry and Steven; in-laws; Raymond and Birdie Donn and stepson; Jonathan.
