Neoma M. Mattison, 90, Campbell, Nebraska died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Mother Hull Home, Kearney, Nebraska. Services will be Friday, September 28, 2018, 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Campbell, Nebraska with Rev. Loren Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, south of Campbell, Nebraska. Memorials can be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Campbell, Nebraska. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.mertenbutlermortuary.com. Campbell Funeral Home, Campbell, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.
Neoma was born on April 26, 1928 to Ralph and Mae (Churchill) Worley in Webster County, south of Campbell. She was baptized and confirmed at the Norwegian Lutheran Church south of Campbell and later joined Trinity Lutheran Church in Campbell. She married Norman “Bernard” Mattison on February 10, 1951. She spent her life on farms in Webster and Franklin County. In 1986 she moved into Campbell. Neoma was devoted to her family and always enjoyed helping whenever she could.
Neoma is survived by (2) sons, Lonnie (Eadie) Mattison, Amherst, Nebraska, Donald Mattison, Nampa, Idaho, (1) daughter, Connie (Leslie) Vavra, Amherst, Nebraska, (2) brothers, Leslie Worley, Blue Hill, Nebraska, Ivan (Bonnie) Worley, Hastings, Nebraska, (2) sisters, Iva June (Clifford) Beach, Blue Hill, Nebraska, Doris Dallmann, Franklin, Nebraska, (5) grandsons, (11) great grandchildren. Neoma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, (1) daughter-In-Law, Dawn Mattison, (3) brothers, (1) sister.
