Dale Edward Myers

Dale Edward Myers, 76, Bue Hill, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at The Pines at Blue Hill.  Service will be held Monday, December 16, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska with Pastor Ann Auten officiating.  Private Family Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.  There will be no viewing or visitation as his wishes were to be cremated.  A memorial has been established to be designated at a later date.  The service will be live-streamed on Merten-Butler Mortuary’s website.  To view the service, go to Dale’s obituary and click on the play button towards the bottom of the page.  Merten-Butler Mortuary, Blue Hill, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.

Dale was born on July 14, 1948, to Lowell and Aileen (Guinard) Myers in Hastings, Nebraska.  Dale married Patricia (Pat) Doyle on February 3, 1968, in Hastings.  They lived in Hastings until moving to Blue Hill in 1981.  Dale was preceded in death by Patricia by exactly 9 years and 364 days.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and four sisters.

Dale is survived by (3) Sons, Jeff Myers, Lincoln, Nebraska, Rick Myers, Blue Hill, Nebraska, Matt (Sara) Myers, Ashland, Nebraska; (1) Daughter, Melanie (Leonard) Ogomo, South Jordan, Utah; (11) Grandchildren, Jakob, Aiden, Jacey, Jackson, Riley, Thomas, Charlie, Xavier, Tayshaun, Jarvis and Savannah; four sisters.
